Mission Statement & Purpose
The Medical Professions Organization (MPO) is committed to helping UTEP students interested in attending Medical, Veterinary, Podiatry, Optometry, and PA schools by providing opportunities that will help them become better applicants such as our Medical School Bus Trip, volunteer events, campus participation, information about early admission programs/summer programs, help with interview skills, the application process, MCAT workshops, leadership opportunities, and so much more. We also offer specifically focused committees such as the Research Interest Committee, Pediatric Committee, and the High School Chapters.

Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) is the National Health Pre-professional Honor Society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in pre-professional health scholarship. Our Society welcomes all students engaged in the pursuit of a professional development, provides a forum for students with common interests, and extends a program of service to benefit the college/university community.
